Humor, Hope, and Happily Ever Afters! Kaye Dacus is the author of humorous, hope-filled contemporary and historical romances with Barbour Publishing, Harvest House Publishers, and B&H Publishing. She holds a Master of Arts in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University, is a former Vice President of American Christian Fiction Writers, and currently serves as President of Middle Tennessee Christian Writers. Kaye lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is a full-time academic advisor and part-time college composition instructor for Bethel University.

Kaye Dacus (KAY DAY-cuss) is an author and educator who has been writing fiction for more than twenty years. A former Vice President of American Christian Fiction Writers, Kaye enjoys being an active ACFW member and the fellowship and community of hundreds of other writers from across the country and around the world that she finds there. She currently serves as President of Middle Tennessee Christian Writers, which she co-founded in 2003 with three other writers. Each month, she teaches a two-hour workshop on an aspect of the craft of writing at the MTCW monthly meeting. Kaye lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is an academic advisor and English Composition instructor for Bethel University.

My Review:  I just finished Threads of Hope and it left we with such a heart-warming feeling that I can't help but smile a little as I write this post.  This book was another in the Quilts of Love series, this time the main characters are a journalist named Nina who gets assigned to cover an gala benefit for the AIDS Memorial and Greg a single dad of a HIV-positive adopted daughter.  Nina and Greg's paths had crossed before in high school and Nina is still holding onto a grudge against Greg.  This story is a great one about bitterness, forgiveness, and love that I really enjoyed and is a great addition to the Quilts of Love series.

The Survivor~ by Diann Mills

My Review:  Wow, as promised above this book was indeed an adventure.  The Survivor is the second book in the Crimes of Houston series following Kariss Walker, a suspense author, as she writes another  novel about a cold case whose victim is Dr. Amy Garrett.  I did not read the first book in the series but nevertheless there were enough recaps to make me feel like I wasn't completely out of the loop, even though now I am curious to see how this series started :)  I thought that the story was full of twists and turns, and the suspense, faith, and romance aspects were all woven together in a way that made this book very hard to put down.  If you are interested in crime novels this is definitely a book that you want to check out.
