Symphony of Secrets~ by Sharon Hinck

This book combined two of my favorite things, music and reading in a captivating story of Amy Johnson, a talented flutist, who tries to balance her aspirations of playing flute with a professional symphony and being a single mom. As a musician I loved all of the scenes describing the performances and the world of a musician and on top of that Amy is an amateur sleuth who sees danger around every corner. Often times her visions of crimes are products of her wild imagination, but when things start going wrong at the Minneapolis Symphony she suspects that what is happening is no accident and this time she might be right.

I highly recommend adding this book to your collection. It is a different exciting story that you will want to read and share with your friends. Also it is full of musician jokes that I am going to file away for future use :)
