Halos~Kristen Heitzmann

"And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

~Matthew 24:31

Alessi Moore has had a difficult life full of pain and rejection yet still manages to appreciate the small things. When she reaches the town of Charity she sees a halo and knows that something good is going to happen. Maybe this is the place where she can finally belong. Her high hopes are gone in an instant when she finds herself "with nothing but the clothes on her back" stuck in a town where not everything is as perfect as it seems.

I enjoyed this book a lot. Kristen Heitzmann's storytelling always transports me completely into the story and I find it difficult to put the book down. I think you will really enjoy this one.

Next on my reading agenda~The Warrior~ by Francine Rivers

Hi "Loves to Read",

This book was outstanding! It was sad, funny, suspenseful, and spiritually convicting. Thanks for the great recommendation.
